Scorpio Information Systems has now partnered with CSW Health to combined the specialist clinical modules of HICSS with the comprehensive e-records management capabilities of CSW Case Notes, to create Case Notes Clinicals - an Integrated Case Record System with in-depth clinical functionality.

CSW Case Notes provides the foundation for a secure and extensible pan-community health record, aggregating information from systems across the community to present a single, integrated record at the point of care. Case Notes has the power and flexibility to integrate information across a Natural Community, including GP systems, Social Services, Mental Health and secondary care Electronic Patient Record systems or Patient Administration Systems.

A key feature of Case Notes is a sophisticated Access Control Framework, which includes role and data-centred access controls and support for patient consent models and access to their own record. Scorpio's clinical modules have now been integrated within this framework to provide a comprehensive solution for secondary care as part of a full Integrated Care Record.
